Former Delhi captain Mithun Manhas is reportedly set to become the new President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The Jammu-Kashmir born cricketer’s name is at the forefront of the race to become the head of the BCCI. The decision to appoint Manhas was seemingly made after a meeting held in Delhi on February 20th. While there has been no official announcement from the BCCI, reports suggest that Manhas’s appointment as the new president could be announced at the upcoming AGM meeting on September 28th. If Manhas becomes president, it would be a first, as no uncapped player has ever held the position before.
