    P. Arjun Tendulkar, not to be confused with Sachin Tendulkar’s son, recently engaged to Sania Chandok, is making waves in the Andhra Premier League. This particular Arjun Tendulkar is an opening batsman, unlike the all-rounder son of the legendary Sachin. In a recent APL 2025 match on August 19th, P. Arjun Tendulkar showcased a stunning performance with the bat.

In the match between Kakinda Kings and Bhimavaram Bulls, the latter scored 214 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Chasing a target of 215, Kakinda Kings needed a strong start, and P. Arjun Tendulkar delivered exactly that.

The 20-year-old opener launched an aggressive batting display, hitting boundaries at will. He smashed an equal number of sixes and fours, with half of his deliveries finding their way to the boundary. With a strike rate exceeding 258, Tendulkar, playing for Kakinda Kings, blasted 31 runs off just 12 balls, including 3 sixes and 3 fours.

His explosive batting saw Kakinda Kings reach 32 runs before his dismissal. P. Arjun Tendulkar’s innings ended on the 13th ball, caught out by Satyanarayana Raju, a bowler from Mumbai Indians, who made his IPL debut earlier this year, playing 2 matches and taking 1 wicket.

Despite P. Arjun Tendulkar’s explosive start, Kakinda Kings ultimately fell short, losing to Bhimavaram Bulls by 27 runs.
