A significant change is anticipated within the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Reports indicate that BCCI President Roger Binny is likely to resign from his position. Consequently, Vice-President Rajeev Shukla has been appointed as the interim president. A meeting of BCCI officials was held on August 27th under Shukla’s leadership, during which discussions were held regarding new sponsorships after Dream 11’s departure. Binny was appointed as the president in 2022, succeeding Sourav Ganguly. Binny is now 70 years old and is expected to step down from the presidency soon.
