Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s unbeaten streak faced a harsh reality check in Vadodara as Delhi Capitals’ bowlers ran riot, bundling them out for 109 in Women’s Premier League 2026’s 15th match. Despite topping the table and securing playoff berth with five wins, RCB struggled on a tricky pitch after being put in to bat.

The innings began promisingly with Smriti Mandhana and Grace Harris adding 36 runs for the first wicket. Harris managed 9 with two boundaries before perishing. Mandhana, the skipper, fought valiantly, smashing 38 runs from 34 deliveries laced with six fours and one six, alongside Georgia Voll who helped push the score to 62.

Post-Mandhana, wickets tumbled like ninepins. Radha Yadav’s gritty 18 off 17 balls, including a maximum, was the only bright spot amid the debris. No other batter could stabilize the sinking ship, leading to an all-out in under 20 overs.

Delhi’s Nandini Sharma shone brightest with 3/??, supported by twin strikes from Chinelle Henry, Marizanne Kapp, and Minnu Mani. Sri Charani chipped in with one. Jemimah Rodrigues’ Capitals, sitting fourth with two wins from five, eye revenge over RCB from their prior defeat and a table-topping push.

Featuring stars like Shafali Verma and Lizelle Lee, DC’s chase of 110 looks straightforward. RCB’s bowlers now under pressure to defend the paltry total in what could be a turning point for both sides in the league stage.
