    The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Indian team for the upcoming Australia tour, commencing October 19th. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who last played for India in March 2025, have been selected for the ODI squad. Shubman Gill will captain the team, with Shreyas Iyer as vice-captain. Additionally, two new players have been included in the ODI team, having impressed in Test and T20 formats.
