    The Indian Premier League (IPL) has witnessed numerous controversies throughout its history. One incident, however, shocked not only Indian cricket fans but the entire cricketing world. This event involved the infamous slap incident between Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth. During the inaugural IPL season in 2008, Harbhajan Singh slapped Sreesanth. The incident occurred after a match where Harbhajan, representing Mumbai, slapped Sreesanth of the Punjab Kings. The world was taken aback by the event. Although a video of the incident had never been seen publicly, former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi has now released it.
