Keshorn Walcott of Trinidad & Tobago secured the gold medal at the World Athletics Championships with a final throw of 85.84 meters. His victory marked his first World Athletics Championship gold, adding to his Olympic gold from the London 2012 Games. In a surprising turn of events, Neeraj Chopra, a prominent Indian athlete, finished eighth in the Men’s Javelin Throw final, marking his first time outside the top two in an international competition since the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Sachin Yadav, another Indian competitor, narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth with a personal best throw of 86.27 meters. Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan placed tenth. Other notable performances included Curtis Thompson (USA) and Julius Yego (Kenya), with Yego suffering an injury during his performance. Julian Weber (Germany) and Anderson Peters also made strong showings, though they did not secure a podium finish.
