Alexander Zverev has officially qualified for the prestigious ATP Finals, marking his eighth appearance at the elite season-ending tournament. The German secured his ticket to Turin after reaching the semi-finals in Vienna, a spot confirmed by Tallon Griekspoor’s withdrawal.

Zverev now joins a star-studded lineup that includes Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, and World No. 1 Novak Djokovic. The ATP Finals are scheduled to take place from November 9th to 16th at the Inalpi Arena.

His strong performance throughout the year has been a key factor in his qualification. Zverev reached the final of the Australian Open, his third Grand Slam final, and secured his 24th career ATP Tour title in Munich. He also made the final in Stuttgart and reached semi-finals at ATP Masters 1000 events in Toronto and Cincinnati. These consistent results have placed him in a strong position in the ATP Live Race To Turin.

Zverev has a commendable record at the ATP Finals, holding a 17-10 win/loss record. Since the event’s relocation to Turin in 2021, he has achieved a 9-3 record, with two losses coming in hard-fought final-set tie-breaks. He is one of only two active players, alongside Djokovic, to have won the ATP Finals more than once, clinching the title in 2018 and 2021. His journey at the year-end championships has also included semi-final appearances in 2019 and 2024. With four singles spots still up for grabs, Taylor Fritz is currently the next player in line to qualify.
