One key update highlighted for the charging case is a subtle reduction in size, according to information from an accessory manufacturer. However, the appearance of the cases appears almost identical to previous models, as assessed through obtained photos and dimensions.
Additionally, Apple is removing the traditional pairing button. Instead, the case itself will feature touch controls, similar to the AirPods 4.
