In a competitive landscape striving to redefine smartphone design, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge has emerged, featuring flagship specifications and advanced camera technology within a sleek 5.84mm chassis. The device was initially recognized as a game-changer, poised to captivate technology enthusiasts. However, Apple has entered the arena with the launch of the iPhone Air. The iPhone Air showcases a 6.5-inch display with slim bezels, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, enhancing outdoor visibility. Its titanium frame provides structural integrity, complemented by Ceramic Shield 2 for screen scratch resistance. The rear of the iPhone Air houses a 48MP main camera, offering full-resolution or 24MP output options, along with a 2x telephoto capability. The front-facing 18MP Center Stage camera automatically adjusts framing for group selfies and enables switching between portrait and landscape modes without phone movement. The phone is powered by the A19 Pro chip, designed for demanding tasks, including gaming, photo and video editing, and the new Apple Intelligence features. Battery life is estimated to last a full day, with Apple claiming up to 27 hours of video playback, and fast charging enabling a 50% charge in approximately 30 minutes. The Galaxy S25 Edge features the best aspects of the S25 series, presented in a compact 5.84mm chassis. It boasts a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED 2X display with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. The camera unit includes a 200MP f/1.7 aperture (wide), 1/1.56” sensor with PDAF and OIS, alongside a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide PDAF front-facing camera. The phone has a 3900mAh battery with a 25W wired charging capability.
