The iPhone 17 Pro Max, part of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series, is available for pre-order with deliveries expected soon. This new device is set to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. Here’s a comparison of the two phones, focusing on their features.

**Display:** The iPhone 17 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology, offering a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. It includes a 7-layer anti-reflective coating for enhanced visibility.

On the other hand, the Samsung foldable phone boasts an 8-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, capable of reaching a peak brightness of 2600 nits. It also has a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The cover screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, while the main inner screen uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

**Chipset:** The iPhone 17 Pro Max is equipped with the A19 Pro Bionic processor for speed and multitasking, with a vapor cooling chamber to manage heat. The foldable phone utilizes the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. According to Nanoreview Net, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 leads in gaming and CPU performance, but the Apple chipset is expected to provide better battery life.

**Camera:** The iPhone features a 48MP triple fusion camera system. Its tetraprism telephoto camera supports up to 8x optical zoom and 40x hybrid zoom, designed to improve zoom capabilities, portrait photos, and macro shots. The Samsung foldable phone includes a 200MP primary, 12MP ultra-wide angle, and 10MP telephoto camera setup. It also features a 10MP camera on the cover display and another 10MP sensor on the inner screen.

**Battery:** While Apple doesn’t disclose battery capacity during launch events, reports suggest the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 5000 mAh battery. The company claims the phone can provide up to 39 hours of battery life on a single charge. The foldable phone also has a 5000mAh battery, expected to offer good battery backup during regular use.

**Pricing:** The iPhone 17 Pro Max is priced at ₹1,49,900, ₹1,69,900, ₹1,89,900, and ₹2,29,900 for the 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB variants, respectively. Pre-orders are currently open, but delays in delivery are anticipated. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is priced at ₹1,74,999, ₹1,86,999, and ₹2,16,999 for the 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB variants, respectively.
