PM Modi Highlights Japan-India Partnership for Technological Revolution

During a two-day visit to Japan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the India-Japan Joint Economic Forum in Tokyo. He emphasized the transformative potential of combining Japanese technology with Indian talent, calling it a powerhouse for national development. Highlighting Japan’s role as a crucial partner in India’s growth, PM Modi encouraged Japanese business leaders to ‘Make in India, Make for the World.’ India has initiated ambitious projects in sectors like semiconductors, AI, biotech, quantum computing, and space. Acknowledging the strong collaboration, India and Japan have also signed an agreement for a Joint Credit Mechanism to foster cooperation in clean energy and a green future. PM Modi pointed out that the partnership between India and Japan is a symbol of mutual trust in every sector. He also mentioned that Japanese companies have invested $13 billion in India over the past two years.
