    Quordle, a word game, challenges players to solve four Wordle puzzles simultaneously within nine attempts. Each guess is a five-letter word.     How To Play Quordle?

    For beginners, simply type words to begin. You need to guess four five-letter words in nine attempts. The challenge is that you must guess all four words simultaneously.

    If you correctly place a letter in any of the four words, it turns green. If a word contains a letter from your guess, but it’s in the wrong position, it appears in yellow. Practice games are available before tackling the daily puzzle.

    Quordle History

    Freddie Meyer created Quordle in 2022, inspired by Wordle and Dordle. Merriam-Webster acquired the game in January 2023.

    David Mah developed the initial prototype of Quordle. Freddie Meyer then adapted Mah’s prototype. He drew inspiration from Dordle, another Wordle variation. Quordle was launched in February 2022 and quickly gained a million players within weeks.

    Merriam-Webster acquired Quordle in January 2023. Greg Barlow, the company’s president, said the game was a favorite among employees and would be a great addition to the site’s game selection.
