Bangladesh continues its efforts to cultivate relationships with Muslim countries. While strengthening ties with key advisors like Mohammad Saudi and the UAE, and expanding trade and military cooperation with Pakistan, the nation is now setting its sights on another Muslim nation. The Bangladeshi Foreign Ministry announced that Chief Advisor Professor Mohammad Yunus will depart for Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

The trip is taking place at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. According to reports, Anwar Ibrahim is a long-time friend and staunch supporter of Yunus, the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

Reports suggest that Bangladesh and Malaysia will hold high-level talks in Putrajaya on Tuesday. The goal of these talks is to strengthen bilateral relations and increase cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, and labor. They will also explore ways to cooperate in other fields.
