An explosion rocked a railway track in the Dasht area of Mastung, Balochistan, causing the derailment of the Jaffar Express. Several coaches of the train were overturned in the blast. Rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene, and visuals showed officials assisting passengers, including women and children, from the damaged coaches. Two explosions were reported. The first occurred earlier, and the second happened hours later while the Pakistani military was clearing the area. This incident raises concerns regarding passenger safety. In a similar incident on August 11, a bomb blast in the Mastung district also derailed the Jaffar Express.
