Representative Claudia Tenney has announced her intention to nominate former President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for a third time. Tenney, who has previously nominated Trump twice, stated her commitment to continue doing so until he receives the award. The nomination window is set to reopen in the fall. Tenney highlighted that she was the sole member of Congress to formally nominate Trump in the past. In her previous nominations, she cited Trump’s role in brokering the Abraham Accords and his stance against Iran and Palestinian terrorism as reasons for the recognition. She emphasized her belief that Trump has significantly contributed to world peace.
