A shooting incident in the Ramot area of Jerusalem resulted in the deaths of five individuals and left 15 others injured, with seven in critical condition. The attack, which occurred near a busy bus stop, involved two gunmen who opened fire before being neutralized by security forces. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened an emergency security meeting following the incident. Hamas praised the attack, describing it as a heroic operation and a response to the ongoing conflict. Authorities are investigating the shooting at the Ramot junction, and security forces across the country are on high alert. The National Security Minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, visited the scene to assess the situation. The Jerusalem District Court has postponed Netanyahu’s case hearing scheduled for the morning. The Israeli army is conducting patrols in Palestinian villages on the outskirts of Ramallah, which are believed to be where the attackers originated.
