Former Major General Alnur Musayev, a former chief of Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee (KNB), has made a startling claim. He alleges that Russian President Vladimir Putin has video recordings and documents that could be used to damage former US President Donald Trump. This claim from the former Soviet and Kazakh security official comes before a planned meeting between Trump and Putin in Alaska.

General Alnur Musayev was also an officer in the Soviet Union’s intelligence agency, the KGB. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Musayev became the chairman of Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee (KNB). In February 2025, Musayev claimed that the Soviet Union had recruited Donald Trump as a KGB agent in 1987.

According to Musayev, the alleged documents contain evidence of sexual offenses against minors and financial transactions linked to Russia, Kazakhstan, and other former Soviet states. These include documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, who ran a sex trafficking ring, and videos of sexual violence against women and underage girls. General Alnur claims that these documents are held by Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), which could use them to pressure Trump into supporting Russian interests. Trump could also be pressured by the Kremlin to work towards breaking up NATO and the European Union.

Musayev also alleges that Kazakh businessmen supplied girls to Jeffrey Epstein’s private island and Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The main person involved was Tofik Arifov, against whom a criminal case was registered in the 1990s, but was later withdrawn after a request from the FSB. Three more wealthy Kazakh citizens were accused of assisting in these matters under Russian instructions.

In 2013, Trump organized the Miss Universe competition in Moscow. The competition was funded by billionaire Aras Agalarov. The event took place at the Crocus City Complex, owned by Agalarov. Trump had called the Crocus City Complex the most important place in Russia.

Trump and Putin are scheduled to meet on August 15 in Alaska. The two leaders last met in 2019 at the G-20 summit in Japan. The upcoming meeting in Anchorage, Alaska, will focus on ending the war in Ukraine. Before this, Trump had mediated three meetings between Russia and Ukraine. However, these talks were unsuccessful.
