A fierce gun battle in Balochistan’s Barkhan district resulted in the deaths of four Baloch fighters. The clash, which took place in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil, involved a ‘state-backed’ armed group and lasted for several hours. Residents reported the use of heavy weaponry during the exchange of fire. The deceased individuals were identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib. Their bodies were subsequently taken to a Rakni hospital. No official statement has been released by Pakistani authorities regarding the confrontation.

In a separate incident in the Spilinji area of Mastung district, heavy fighting erupted during a military operation conducted by Pakistani forces. Large troop deployments entered the mountainous region late Thursday, triggering intense gunfire and multiple explosions, suggesting a prolonged engagement. Casualties were reported on both sides, with ambulances and reinforcements arriving at the scene. The exact number of casualties remains unconfirmed, and no Baloch armed group has yet claimed responsibility for the Spilinji clashes. These recent events highlight the ongoing instability in Balochistan, where conflict between nationalist groups and state forces continues.
