India has officially reinstated its full embassy operations in Kabul, signifying a robust re-engagement with Afghanistan. This strategic move aims to bolster bilateral ties and foster cooperation between the two nations. The Ministry of External Affairs emphasized that this step is designed to strengthen the long-standing friendly and cooperative relationship. Following this development, Afghanistan’s Deputy Prime Minister made a significant visit to the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project, urging accelerated progress and issuing directives to expedite construction. This vital energy corridor, once completed, is anticipated to be a transformative project for India’s energy security, ensuring a steady supply of gas to meet growing domestic demands and fuel industrial growth. The project is viewed as a crucial bridge for regional cooperation and economic stability.
