Indian Students in Iran Plead for Evacuation Amidst Escalating Conflict

Indian medical students in Iran are urgently appealing to the Indian government for immediate evacuation, citing increasing safety concerns due to ongoing Israeli airstrikes. Imtisal Mohidin, a student at Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti University, describes the harrowing experience of nightly explosions near student accommodations, forcing students into basements. He reports over 350 Indian students at his university alone. Faizan Nabi, another student, notes that the situation, even in relatively safer areas like Kerman, is deteriorating, with reports of gunshots and advice to stockpile essential supplies.
