On Sunday, Israel launched airstrikes against Houthi rebel positions in Sana’a, Yemen’s capital. The attacks resulted in the deaths of 6 people and injuries to 86 others. Israel targeted a building, a power plant, and a gas station primarily in central Sana’a. These strikes mark yet another instance of Israeli action against the Iran-backed Houthi rebels since the commencement of the Israel-Hamas conflict on October 7, 2023.

Videos of the attacks have circulated on social media, depicting plumes of black smoke rising from buildings. Another video shows a ball of fire erupting amidst structures. However, the authenticity of these videos remains unconfirmed.
