The 16th Russia-India Business Dialogue in Moscow drew a massive crowd of over 1,250 delegates, signaling robust momentum in economic cooperation between the two nations. Organized jointly by the Indian Business Alliance, Business Council for Cooperation with India, Moscow authorities, and Roscongress Foundation, the summit pledged continued collaboration at major forums like the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum slated for early June.

Central to the proceedings were strategies to address trade imbalances and unlock new opportunities. Sessions delved into logistics optimization, financial safeguards, industrial synergies, curbing import reliance, and collaborative advancements in energy sectors, tech innovations, and cutting-edge R&D.

Prominent speaker Sergei Cheremin from the Moscow Government highlighted the practical evolution of ties. In the last year alone, over 50 joint ventures were initiated. Focus now shifts to expanding Indian footprints in Russian markets, joint industrial efforts, pharma and electronics growth, creative sectors, cross-investments, and modern tech exports.

Indian Business Alliance head Sammy Kotwani called it a strategic milestone grounded in actionable outcomes. The high attendance and regional Russian engagement underscore enduring trust for enduring partnerships.

Roscongress’s Alexei Valkov reinforced the platform’s value, noting India’s key participation in their events and how global outreach amplifies bilateral dialogues, promising a brighter economic future for both countries.
