Pakistan’s Army Chief Uncertainty: Could Munir Spark India Conflict?

Pakistan finds itself in an unprecedented period of political and military flux as the deadline for appointing its first Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) has passed without a formal announcement. The ongoing ambiguity surrounding the status of Field Marshal Asim Munir has ignited serious concerns among security analysts, with fears that his actions could destabilize the entire region. Experts warn that Munir, despite the uncertainty over his official position, might provoke an incident with India to solidify his influence.
