A captured ISIS fighter has confessed to receiving military training and undergoing radicalization in Pakistan’s Quetta region before infiltrating Afghanistan. The operative, identified as Saeedullah, provided detailed accounts of his training, directly implicating Pakistan in fostering terrorist activities. Afghan security forces apprehended Saeedullah after he crossed the Torkham border using fraudulent documents under the alias ‘Mohammad.’ In video statements, he explicitly described being taken into the mountains near Quetta for intensive brainwashing and preparation for jihad. This confession starkly contradicts Pakistan’s persistent denials of supporting terrorism and provides concrete evidence of state-sponsored terror training. Security experts in the region are now openly stating that Pakistan is not merely a haven for terrorists but actively manufactures them. Analyst Yousuf Amin Zazai asserted that Afghanistan is not the source of terrorism, with militants receiving funding and operational support from Pakistan. Political commentator Naqibullah Noori emphasized that this confession completely dismantles Pakistan’s claims, offering undeniable proof of Pakistan’s government apparatus backing terrorist training centers. This revelation aligns with previous intelligence reports suggesting a systematic funneling of ISIS recruits through Pakistani airports to training facilities in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the stated aim of targeting regional nations, particularly Afghanistan. The mounting evidence suggests Pakistan operates a significant terror assembly line while simultaneously portraying itself as a victim.
