    Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba convened to exchange agreements and reinforce their collaboration across multiple sectors. Following the agreement exchange, Prime Minister Modi described the discussions as productive and purposeful. He announced a joint roadmap for the next ten years between India and Japan. Modi highlighted the significance of the two nations as the world’s leading economies and thriving democracies. He emphasized their partnership’s critical role in promoting global peace and security. The vision for the next decade will focus on investment, innovation, economic security, environmental sustainability, technology, health, mobility, and people-to-people exchanges. A target of 10 trillion yen in Japanese investment in India over the next decade has been set. Special attention will be given to fostering connections between Indian and Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as startups.
