Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his appreciation to Russian President Vladimir Putin for birthday greetings during a phone conversation. Modi also stated India’s readiness to contribute to a peaceful resolution of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. This discussion followed a previous call with the US President, where efforts to end the war were discussed. During the call, Putin wished PM Modi a happy birthday, marking their third conversation since the beginning of August. The leaders also took the opportunity to review the current state of India-Russia relations.
