    Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared images of his interactions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping prior to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit plenary session. Modi posted the pictures on X, stating, “Interactions in Tianjin continue! Exchanging perspectives with President Putin and President Xi during the SCO Summit.” The camaraderie between Modi and Putin was evident, with the two leaders seen greeting each other with smiles and hugs. They were also observed walking together towards Xi, exchanging light remarks before the plenary session. A family photo of SCO members followed. A bilateral meeting between PM Modi and President Putin was scheduled after the plenary session. Additionally, PM Modi held bilateral talks with President Xi Jinping, during which they acknowledged the positive momentum and progress in bilateral relations since their last meeting in Kazan on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in October 2024.
