Elizaveta Krivonogikh, also known as Luiza Rozova, the alleged secret daughter of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has broken her silence regarding the ongoing war in Ukraine. In a social media post, the 22-year-old, without directly naming Putin, alluded to the individual she blames for ruining her life. She also held the person responsible for the war in Ukraine, stating that it has destroyed the lives of millions.

Luiza, who is currently residing in Paris and studying fine arts, has previously maintained a low profile. In cryptic posts, she has indirectly criticized Putin, expressing a sense of liberation in being able to show her face to the world again, as it reminds her of who she is and who ruined her life.

Born on March 3, 2003, in St. Petersburg, Luiza is believed to be the result of a relationship between Putin and Svetlana Krivonogikh, a former cleaning lady. The identification of her father was first revealed in 2020 through investigative projects. It was speculated that the wealth acquired by her mother after Luiza’s birth was a result of hush money provided by Putin.

Before the war, Luiza showcased her affluent lifestyle on social media, traveling the world on private charter planes. However, her accounts were deactivated shortly before the outbreak of the conflict. She subsequently moved to Paris and graduated from the ICART School of Cultural and Art Management in June 2024. After leaving Russia, Luiza expressed her sadness on a Telegram channel, lamenting her inability to revisit St. Petersburg and her favorite places.

Luiza is reportedly employed at L’Gallery in Belleville and Espace Albatros in Montreuil, both art galleries in Paris known for hosting anti-war exhibitions. Her role as a gallery manager involves assisting with show organization and video production. However, Luiza’s attempts to establish herself within Parisian dissident circles have faced resistance.

Artist Nastya Rodionova, who fled Russia in 2022, recently announced the severing of ties with the two galleries connected to Luiza. In a Facebook post, she stated that while children are not responsible for the sins of their parents, it is inappropriate to maintain connections with individuals from the family of Putin’s beneficiaries, especially as the war escalates. It is crucial to know who we are working with and to determine if we are prepared for it. Rodionova’s answer to this question was no.

Defending herself, Luiza questioned whether she is truly responsible for the sins of her family. Dmitry Dolinsky, who controls Albatros and L’Gallery, defended Luiza, noting that while she resembles Putin, so do many others. He added that Luiza is a good employee. In 2023, Luiza’s mother, Svetlana, was sanctioned by the UK and was also mentioned by Russian media as being among Putin’s close associates.
