Record 15.5 Trillion Yuan Revenue for China Software Sector in 2025

China’s software and information technology service industry maintained a steady upward trajectory in 2025, with revenues climbing 13.2 percent to hit 15.4831 trillion yuan. Data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that software products contributed 3.2361 trillion yuan, a 10.4 percent increase. IT services remained the largest segment, generating 10.6366 trillion yuan. Information security products and services also expanded, growing by 6.7 percent to 0.2235 trillion yuan. This robust performance is attributed to increased demand for cloud computing and cybersecurity across the nation.
