The US Embassy in New Delhi has alerted American nationals, advising them to avoid areas around the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, steer clear of large gatherings, and stay informed through local media. The US State Department expressed deep sympathy for the victims and their families, confirming they are closely monitoring the developing situation. Simultaneously, the UK government has updated its travel guidance. The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advises against all travel within 10km of the India-Pakistan border due to potential armed conflict. Additionally, the FCDO strongly discourages all travel to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, with specific exclusions for air travel to and within Jammu city. Travel to Manipur is also advised against, except for essential purposes, owing to persistent ethnic violence and curfews.
