Russia conducted a significant missile and drone attack on multiple regions of Ukraine on Saturday. The strikes resulted in the deaths of three people and injuries to over 26 others. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the attacks targeted nine areas, including Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Kharkiv. The attacks were aimed at infrastructure, residential areas, and private institutions.

Zelenskyy stated that such attacks are part of Russia’s strategy to instill fear in the citizens and destroy the nation’s infrastructure. He also mentioned a potential meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump during the upcoming United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York. Discussions between the first ladies of the United States and Ukraine may also occur, focusing on humanitarian issues related to children.
