A 13-year-old boy undertook an incredibly dangerous journey, stowing away on a flight from Kabul to Delhi. The teen, intending to travel to Iran, boarded the wrong aircraft, operated by KAM Air. He concealed himself within the rear wheel well of an Airbus A340, managing to survive the entire 94-minute flight. The flight departed from Karzai International Airport at 8:47 AM and arrived at Indira Gandhi Airport at 10:20 AM. The risks of stowing away in a wheel well are immense, including lack of oxygen, extreme temperatures, and the potential for being crushed. Aviation expert Captain Mohan Ranganathan suggests the boy may have found a confined, pressurized space within the wheel bay. This incident marks the second reported case of a stowaway at an Indian airport; the first occurred in 1996, involving two brothers on a British Airways flight.
