Trump expressed optimism about his administration’s ability to broker a peace settlement between Russia and Ukraine, stating, ‘We’ll get there eventually.’ He pointed to the significant loss of life in the ongoing conflict, noting the thousands of soldiers killed recently and emphasizing the urgency to stop the bloodshed. The President also announced an expansion of U.S. security vetting for H-1B and H-4 visa applicants, requiring them to make all social media profiles public for review.
