Trump emphasized his resolve to hold the press accountable for untruthful reporting, claiming previous victories against media outlets like George Stephanopoulos/ABC and 60 Minutes/CBS. He disparaged the Wall Street Journal, labeling it a ‘Disgusting and Filthy Rag,’ and attributed the report to desperation to remain relevant.
The controversy surrounds a note bearing Trump’s name and an outline of a naked woman included in a collection of letters gifted to Epstein. Trump has denied writing the letter or drawing the picture, and has threatened legal action, asserting it is not his style.
