At a meeting with senior military officials at the Quantico Military Base near Washington, President Donald Trump addressed a gathering of hundreds of generals, admirals, and their advisors. The unscheduled meeting saw Trump issue a stern warning to Russia, stating, ‘If necessary, we have the most and the best nuclear weapons. But we don’t want to ever have to use them.’ He mentioned that in response to Russia’s nuclear threats, the United States dispatched its most formidable nuclear submarine near Russia. Trump asserted this submarine is a world-leading weapon, undetectable by adversaries, and technologically superior to those of Russia and China by 25 years. He also described Russian President Vladimir Putin as a ‘paper tiger’.
